Seeing Your Own Numbers
You pay when Hatchly starts doing work you would otherwise do by hand, not for the privilege of looking at your own income.
Nothing is billable yet. These are the prices at launch, published early so nobody is surprised later. There is no checkout, every button on this page opens a free account, and you will not be charged for anything today.

Why the wall is at the bank, and not at the answers.
Connecting a bank costs us money every month, per account, because Plaid charges per connection. Free bank access does not scale and pretending otherwise would mean pulling it back later. Looking at your own income costs us almost nothing, so it stays free on principle. That is the whole reasoning.

Questions
Can I pay for it today?
No. Billing is not switched on. The prices here are what we intend to charge at launch, published early so nobody is surprised later.
Does the free plan expire?
No. Fifty entries a year, no card, no countdown. If you outgrow it you will know, because you will hit the entry limit rather than a locked screen.
Do you hold my money?
Never. The tax reserve is a target and a record. You move money yourself, in your own bank. Hatchly does not touch it.
Why is expense tracking only on Pro?
Because most self-employed people do not need it to answer the question they actually have, which is what came in. Expenses matter when you are running a business and need true net profit, which is where the S-corp and Schedule C work lives.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your records are isolated to your account by row level security, so no other user can read them. Hatchly never holds or moves money and has no access to your bank balance.
Can I export my data?
Any time, from Settings, as a CSV with every entry. You own what you enter. There is no export fee and no paid tier gating it.
Does Hatchly file my taxes?
No. Hatchly estimates what to set aside so the bill is not a surprise. It is not a tax preparer, and you should confirm the numbers with a professional before you file or pay.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your account drops to Free and your data stays. Nothing is deleted. You keep read access and export, and paid features turn off until you resubscribe.
